PRODUCTION PROCESS
The machines and equipment for the manufacturing facility of EEP have been supplied by Ms Pitac International Machinery Co. Ltd, Taiwan The production process of extruded insulation boards begin as a solid granule. The granules are fed into an extruder where they are melted. Critical additives are mixed with the viscous fluid that is formed. Then, a blowing agent is injected to make the mixture that is foamable. Under carefully controlled temperature and pressure conditions, the foamable mixture is forced through a die, at which the forming and shaping occurs. The rigid foam is then trimmed to the final product dimensions. The polystyrene sheets are then packed and stacked on wooden pallets for easy handling and loading. The cut pieces are further trimmed into slices and granules, which are regrinding and reused with virgin polystyrene granulate making this as zero wastage there by a complete green project.

PRODUCT APPLICATION
Extruded polystyrene is the most common insulation material produced from a combination of polystyrene granules with chemical additives. The product is environmental friendly as all residual matter from the manufacturing process is recycled with the original raw materials, resulting in zero wastage. Technically, the product is called extruded or expanded polystyrene Insulated material. The product manufactured by EEP will have densities ranging from 32kg to 50kg/m3, and thickness varying from 25mm to 100mm.
OUR PRODUCTS FOR APPLICATION ARE:
ROOF INSULATION (E-ROOF)
Roof insulation mostly known as the inverted roof concept or upside down roofing succeeds in insulating both the waterproofing membrane and the R.C. slab from extreme thermal stress. This is achieved by placing E-Foam (Roof Fix) above the waterproofing membrane instead of below.
FLOOR INSULATION (E-FLOOR)
Floor finish is particularly important in the Middle East; especially where the soil temperature is very high. Good floor insulation helps reduce heat flow through the floor into air conditioned buildings. E-FOAM (Floor fix) is an ideal thermal insulation product due to its high compressive strength, high resistance to water absorption, moisture penetration and low thermal conductivity. E-FOAM can be used for special floor applications such as cold store and parking deck floors.
WALL INSULATION (E-WALL)
Interior Wall insulation
- Interior thermal insulation is used where existing buildings require insulation, building with special exterior finishes and building with intermittent air conditioning.
- The Internal lining E-FOAM (Wall fix) can be used either with adhesives or by mechanical fasteners. The lining can be covered either by Gypsum plastic board or by normal plaster with the help of wire mesh.
Cavity Wall Insulation
Cavity wall insulation is an advantage where an external brick of any type and finish is required. Also, for any type of air conditioned buildings to save energy.
Exterior Insulation
It is the most efficient way of insulation building without interrupting structure elements. E-FOAM (Wall fix) can be fixed behind granite or GRC panels with adhesive or mechanical fasteners.
